Watching my son read in front of dozens of people about his food allergies might just break your tear ducts.

In the nine or so months that I went without blogging, my 5-year-old son Noah has grown a lot. He is also becoming a fabulous little reader. Back in September, he gave a little speech to about 100 or so people on what it means to have food allergies. (Noah is allergic to eggs, dairy, peanuts and treenuts).

Here is the speech he made just before our Austin Families With Food Allergies walk last fall. And I have to admit – before he read the speech, I didn’t know if he could do it or not. I mean, I knew he could read. But he was always real shy about reading in front of strangers.
Until this day.
